About Janine

Janine Braxton advises and defends California businesses in labor, employment, and general business matters.  Braxton has extensive experience in labor and employment law, including a unique combination of employment litigation and neutral workplace investigatory work in both the public and private sectors.  She represents clients in government regulatory actions involving the EEOC, DFEH and matters before the State personnel board.  She has litigated claims brought pursuant to California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the California Whistleblower Protection Act, Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the California Labor Code.
