About Laura

With more than 20 years of practice focused exclusively on the management side of employment law, Laura L. Saadeh defends employers in disputes and litigation involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, and breach of contract.  She has defended a wide range of clients involving myriad disputes before arbitrators, administrative agencies and in state and federal courts.

Saadeh's practice strengths include defending wrongful termination claims based on public policy and contractual claims.  The early resolution strategies she develops emphasize efficiency and achieving client goals.

Frequently, she advises clients on various employment issues as they arise in the daily workplace in an effort to avoid litigation.  She spends significant time advising clients on how they can improve their policies and practices to ensure compliance with California law and minimize future risks and costs.

Saadeh also handles many matters involving disabled employees and employees needing leaves.  She advises management on accommodating disabled employees under the Fair Employment and Housing Act and Americans With Disabilities Act, complying with the California Family Rights Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, and avoiding claims for discrimination under the California Workers' Compensation Act.
