Allison Chua represents and advises employers in all areas of labor and employment law. In particular, Chua has extensive experience defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes in state and federal courts. Chua also represents employers before administrative agencies, including the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), and the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission (EEOC).
In addition to her litigation practice, Chua regularly provides counseling to employers regarding employment policies and practices, including hiring, discipline, termination, leaves, and wage and hour matters.
Prior to joining CDF Chua served as General Counsel for a large staffing and human resources company, where she advised senior management on business and employment matters, investigated employee claims of discrimination and harassment, and ensured compliance with state and federal employment laws.contact me
