About Cody

Cody T. Stroman is an associate in the San Francisco office of CDF.  His practice focuses on representing employers in class, collective, and representative actions.  In addition to Cody’s litigation practice, he advises clients on ways to proactively avoid litigation and comply with California’s complex employment laws.

Prior to joining CDF, Cody represented and advised employers at a national labor and employment law firm.  He works diligently with clients at the outset of actions to devise litigation strategies that will best set up matters for early resolution or summary judgment.  Cody excels at identifying and utilizing novel legal arguments to help reduce client exposure.  In addition to Cody’s experience as an attorney, Cody spent a semester teaching second and third-year law students the ins and outs of representative action litigation under the California Private Attorney General Act (“PAGA”) at the University of Santa Clara.
