Draft Handbook Policy to Allow Employees to Use Social Networking Sites

A client wanted to allow its employees to use social networking sites to build its business.  The company did have concerns that its employees would misuse the sites to defame the company or fellow employees.  Advised company on drafting an electronic communications and social networking policy that allowed employees to use the sites to help build the company and their personal business while also ensuring that the company could monitor and discipline, if necessary, any behavior that was inconsistent with the company's business development goals.
