CDF Webinar:  Work After Weinstein: The #MeToo Movement’s Impact on Workplace Investigations

With the increased media and public attention on sexual harassment allegations, employer responses are likewise receiving increased scrutiny. This webinar will discuss the #MeToo Movement’s influence on sexual harassment investigations; offer guidance for conducting investigations that meet standard practices; and, provide tips for crafting suitable remedial action.  

Mark S. Spring, who has represented professional athletes, CEOs, and elected officials in sexual harassment lawsuits will moderate the panel.  He will be joined by Sue Ann Van Dermyden of Van Dermyden Maddux Law Corporation and Daphne Pierre Bishop of CDF LLP’s Los Angeles office.  Sue Ann’ practice focuses on the investigation of complex workplace and Title IX campus investigations.  She is an experienced employment law attorney, who is the immediate past President of the Association of Workplace Investigators and a current Board member. Daphne has been representing California employers in sexual harassment matters for over 15 years, and has conducted workplace investigations of sexual harassment and other claims on behalf of clients.  A graduate of Yale College and UCLA Law School, Daphne also speaks and writes about harassment issues.

This webinar is scheduled for one-hour and fifteen minutes.  During the first hour, the moderator and panelists will present the webinar, and the last 15 minutes will be open for Q&A.
