CDF Attorneys Selected to 2020 Northern California Super Lawyers® and Rising Stars Lists

Northern Calif., July 24, 2020 - CDF Northern California Partners Mark S. Spring, Robin E. Largent, and Alison Tsao from leading labor, employment and business immigration law firm Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP (CDF) were recently named to the 2020 Northern California Super Lawyers® list and Corey J. Cabral was named to the 2020 Northern California Super Lawyers® “Rising Stars” list.  Each year, only five percent of California attorneys are selected by the team at Super Lawyers and by industry peers for the prestigious recognition.  In addition, Mark S. Spring, CDF’s Sacramento Office Managing Partner and Chair of the Firm’s Traditional Labor Practice, was listed on Super Lawyers® prestigious Top 25 Attorneys in Sacramento.

Spring:  For the tenth year, Mark Spring, Sacramento Office Managing Partner rand Chair of the Firm’s Traditional Labor Practice, was selected to the 2020 Northern California Super Lawyers list and this year he was listed on Super Lawyers Top 25 Attorneys in Sacramento.  For close to 30 years, Mark’s practice has a special emphasis on the representation of management in union-management relations.  He has also been the main contributor to CDF’s growth and reputation as a leading California employment law firm in Northern California.
     
  • Robin E. Largent:  For the tenth consecutive year in a row, Robin Largent, Partner in CDF’s Sacramento office and the author of CDF’s California Labor & Employment Law Blog, was selected to the 2020 Northern California Super Lawyers list.  Robin leads the firm’s appellate practice.  Her practice also focuses on defense of class and PAGA actions as well as defense of individual employment litigation.  In addition to litigation defense, Robin partners with many clients on labor and employment law compliance and risk management.
     
  • Alison Tsao:  For the first year, CDF’s San Francisco Office Managing Partner Alison Tsao was selected to the  2020 Northern California Super Lawyers list.  While this is Alison’s first year being recognized by Super Lawyers, she is no stranger to accolades for her cutting edge and strategic litigation skills, particularly in complex class actions and PAGA actions.  She received many awards for her contribution to the defense team in the Duran v. US Bank matter which was successful before the California Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.

Super Lawyers also named CDF’s Northern California Partner Corey J. Cabral on its 2020 Rising Stars list.  Corey’s practice covers all aspects of labor and employment law, with a special emphasis on advising and defending companies facing complex wage and hour issues, including class actions and PAGA enforcement actions.
