About John

John S. Keeney represents and advises California employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. His practice includes providing day-to-day advice and counsel and defending California employers in both individual and class action litigation.

Keeney has experience defending employers ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies across a wide range of industries. He routinely defends employers in matters involving wage and hours claims, equal pay, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, unfair competition, class actions, and claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”).

In addition to defending employers in litigation, Keeney advises employers on employment related matters, such as termination, leaves of absence, wage and hour, and maintaining California compliant policies and practices.
