UPDATE:  CDF Webinar:  Everything You Really Need to Know, Right Now, About the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards

On June 3, 2021, Cal/OSHA adopted revised COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards. These highly controversial regulations were intended to go into effect on or about June 15, 2021. However, on June 9, 2021, Cal/OSHA withdrew the June 3 standards and indicated that it will likely issue new standards at its next meeting, on June 17. This CDF panel will answer questions about the COVID-19 Workplace Prevention Standards and changes that Cal/OSHA implements and finally adopts in June. These standards will relate to such issues as:

  • Treatment of vaccinated and unvaccinated employees in the workplace
  • Responding to COVID-19 cases in the workplace
  • Masking and social distancing protocols and requirements for CA employers
  • Respirator requirements for non-healthcare workplaces
  • The COVID-19 Prevention Program required for all CA workplaces
  • COVID-19 training requirements

The COVID-19 workplace requirements in California are changing regularly. Many employers are understandably having significant difficulty keeping up with what is happening and what applies when. This complimentary webinar will clarify what employers need to do in their California workplace facilities to be in compliance with the ever-changing standards. Register today to help ensure you are in compliance!

In addition to covering the Standards themselves, this webinar will also offer guidance about what to do if a Cal/OSHA inspector comes knocking at your door to determine if you are complying with the proper COVID-19 protocols.

1.5 hours of CA MCLE, HRCI and SHRM credit pending.
