CDF Webinar:  Key Issues for Union & Non-Union Employers Related to Novel Coronavirus & The Return to Work

In this thirty-minute webinar, Mark S. Spring, Chair of CDF’s Traditional Labor Law Practice Group will discuss important issues for both unionized and non-unionized employers related to the novel coronavirus crisis and the National Labor Relations Act.

Some of the issues covered in this webinar will include:

  1. How unions are using the novel coronavirus crisis to gain strength and momentum and gain more control in the workplace;
  2. The expected increase in union organizing stemming from the novel coronavirus crisis and increase vulnerabilities;
  3. When the duty to bargain arises and when it does not in dealing with return to work issues and protocol changes; and
  4. How unions can use the novel coronavirus to get around No-Strike clauses in collective bargaining agreements.

This webinar will cover some key issues often omitted in other COVID-19 “Return to Work” programs.

Due to the length of this program, it does not qualify for HRCI or SHRM Credit.  CA MCLE for .5 hours will be available to attendees.
