About Elizabeth
In her 15+ years of practice, Elizabeth developed an expertise in labor and employment law, successfully representing employers in various industries, ranging from international banks and retail chains to manufacturers, trucking companies, and restaurants. She defends these employers against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, as well as complex PAGA and class action wage-and-hour claims. She thoroughly evaluates the strengths and weaknesses in each case and formulates multi-faceted defense strategies to drive the claims to favorable resolutions, whether by dispositive motion, settlement, or at arbitration hearings and jury trials. She has represented employers through all stages of a lawsuit, having litigated before California and federal trial courts, the California Court of Appeal, and the California Supreme Court.
With this experience, Elizabeth’s practical advice guides employers through the ever-changing landscape of employment law to ensure that employment-related decisions meet their business needs while remaining legally sound. She also ensures workplace policies, handbooks, and employment agreements are legally compliant to protect employers and reduce exposure to liability.
Elizabeth is the proud mom of Madeline and Sophia, and thankful for her husband, Thanh, who holds down the fort when work gets busy. She is a fan of the Anaheim Ducks and all things Harry Potter.
