San Francisco employers are reminded that the city's new Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance (FFWO) takes effect January 1, 2014 and requires employers to consider employee requests for flexible or predictable work arrangements to assist with caregiving responsibilities. This new local ordinance requires San Francisco employers with twenty or more employees to post a poster setting forth the provisions of the ordinance. That poster has just been made available.
